I Need to Optimize My Social Quotient Profile

I started reading Social Nation over the weekend. It’s been in my to-read stack for a few weeks but I had to get through this year’s obligations for the TNCPE examination cycle to free up some time. In the first couple of chapters of the book Barry Libert spells out why everyone needs to pay attention to social media and uses compelling examples for what constitutes sound approaches. In Chapter 3 we are encouraged to assess our social skills using the test located on the Social Nation Book website.

I’m not pleased with my results. My Social Quotient Profile does not reflect the three talents I would have selected. I am looking forward to digging into the book and determining what I can do to enhance my social skills and/or team with the people that will allow me to best take advantage of my strengths and compensate for my weaknesses.

Shoot me an email if you want to know what the test determined were my three key talents.

    Doug –

I am glad that you had a chance to take the test. Many have taken it but and I believe as you work your way through the results and recommendations in the book your SQ will improve. Thanks for taking the time to take the test and blogging about it.

    Best regards,

    Barry
